Founder & Board President, Divine Missions Health Center
Racheal "Dami" Odunewu is the Founder and Board President of Divine Missions Health Center (DMHC), a nonprofit organization committed to improving access to healthcare through medical missions, humanitarian partnerships, and sustainable health initiatives in underserved communities around the world.
Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Dami's journey as a medical missionary began there in 2014. What started as a desire to serve others quickly became a lifelong calling to bring hope, healing, and the love of Christ to communities with limited access to healthcare. Since then, she has participated in and led medical mission initiatives that unite healthcare professionals, churches, businesses, and volunteers to meet both physical and spiritual needs.
Under her leadership, DMHC works to bridge the gap between surplus medical resources and communities in need by coordinating medical mission teams, facilitating the donation and redistribution of medical equipment and supplies, supporting local healthcare partners, and investing in initiatives that strengthen healthcare systems for long-term impact.
Dami is also the Founder and CEO of Purpose Connect, an AI-powered workforce platform that helps international students connect with U.S. employers while navigating employment-based immigration pathways. Although her work spans healthcare and workforce development, the mission remains the same: creating opportunities that restore dignity, unlock potential, and transform lives.
Driven by her Christian faith, Dami believes lasting change happens when compassion is paired with action. She is passionate about building partnerships across the healthcare, nonprofit, business, and faith communities to expand access to care and equip local leaders to serve their own communities.
Today, she continues to lead with a vision of seeing lives transformed through compassionate healthcare, sustainable partnerships, and the love of Christ—one community at a time.
